Players to Watch: Landry Jones

One of the faces we should all be watching this fall is Oklahoma quarterback, Landry Jones.  Jones made a big jump from 2009 to 2010 and everyone is looking to see if the rising junior can continue these impressive numbers. Last year, Jones threw for over 4,700 yards with a 65.6 completion percentage.  Combining these impressive numbers at a top-flight program, with Jones’s physical stats (6’4”, 220 lbs), makes him an intriguing prospect. Landry Jones’s physical stature and statistics, make him a quarterback worth drooling over, on paper. However, if you look beneath the surface of 38 touchdowns and nearly 5,000 yards, you will see a prospect that leaves much to be desired.
