Georgia Bulldogs running back Todd Gurley is a special player that has only an ACL tear so he’ll be okay. Not that a torn ACL isn’t serious but it isn’t that serious as it’s multiple ligament tears that ruin football players. In 1995, defensive back Rod Woodson tore just a an ACL, and was back for the Super Bowl that same season.

Marcus Lattimore of the San Francisco 49ers recently retired without playing a down because at South Carolina, he had multiple ligament tears. That is the same type of injury that former Chicago Bears running back Gayle Sayers and former Denver Broncos running back Terrell Davis’ careers were ruined by.

The football world knows the difference in the two injuries so I, along with ESPN and others, I expect Gurley to go at the end or the first round. But unlike ESPN  and others, I actually have a team that he should be going to and that’s the New England Patriots. So while his injury hurt his money a little bit, it’s going to boost his overall career because if he goes there, another dynasty is en route,
