In this update in my 2015 NFL Mock Draft, Marcus Mariota, quarterback of the Oregon Ducks, falls out of the top 10. He is as far from a sure thing as there is as an NFL prospect and is stock seems to be falling more with each passing day after the season. That’s due in large part to his flaws being magnified in the Championship Game, his last action of the season.

NFL.com quoted an AFC scout as saying, “All these teams high in the draft are all going to see the same thing on tape with Mariota and I’ll bet he starts to fall on draft day. Once that happens, [Philadelphia Eagles head coach] Chip [Kelly] will mortgage the future to get him. If he misses on him, he can just bolt back to college.”

NFL.com Draft analyst Bucky Brooks has him falling all the way down to the Chiefs at 18 and I like that. Reid develops quarterbacks and he has Alex Smith there until Mariota is ready. So I put him with the Chiefs at 18 and of course, that changes a lot of things in the draft.
