  • 1. How have the team’s draft needs changed since free agency opened?

"The Minnesota Vikings team needs haven’t really changed at all since free agency began. Essentially, the team has signed back some of the role players and swapped out some high profile wide receivers."

    2. What would you say are the top three needs remaining?

"Guard should be the top priority, with cornerback and linebacker rounding out the top three."

    3. Are there any prospects that have caught your eye so far?

"I’m really interested in Michigan State cornerback Trae Waynes. I think he could be a great fit opposite Xavier Rhodes and help make the Vikings defense much more physical."

    4. What do you think would make for a successful draft for your team?

"Following the draft plan is important. Getting the best player available to help the team succeed is something that the Vikings have grown quite good at doing and I don’t see that strategy changing much going into the 2015 NFL Draft. But I’d love to see a big, physical cornerback join Minnesota during the draft."

    5. So much draft focus often goes to the first few rounds, but is there something you’d like to see your team do in the later rounds?

"The later rounds of the draft get overlooked a lot, but there are a lot of gems that can be found later on. Important positions get overlooked too, as the Vikings will need to look for a replacement long snapper since Cullen Loeffler is looking to retire soon. In addition, young talent always breeds competition, which brings out the best in everyone."
