The Oakland Raiders haven’t drafted a frachise receiver since the drafted Tim Brown back in 1988. In 2002, Brown, Jerry Rice and franchise quarterback Rich Gannon went to the Super Bowl. The Sun then set on all of their careers and the Raiders haven’t won more than eight games since.

A big part of why is because deceased owner Al Davis swung and missed on receiver like Darrius Heyward-Bey. Then of course, he swung and missed on quarterbacks like Jamarcus Russell and coaches like Lane Kiffin during that time.  But Kiffin looks like he’s finally done something for the Raiders, polishing a gem named Amari Cooper for the Raiders to draft in 2015.

And Cooper is going to help lift the Raiders to .500 or above in 2015.
