At the end of a 3-13 season, Oakland Raiders’ 2014 draft class was viewed by most as a bright spot. They got up to six starters that include franchise quarterback Derek Carr and edge-rusher Khalil Mack. And this year, the Raiders got high marks for a class that includes receiver Amari Cooper and tight end Clive Walford.

The class of 2013 is the one the Raiders and everyone around the NFL is wondering about these days. Only one of the 10 picks has proven he’s a legitimate NFL starter while a few others start by  default. Two have been cut and the others have had their moments but have proven nothing.

So here they are in year three, a pivotal year for any draft pick, fighting for roles on the team. The Raiders’ 2015 free agency period and draft has some of them fighting to stay on the team now. What was good enough to be a Raiders starter or a Raider period in 2014 isn’t good enough now.
