The Cleveland Browns are the wildcards of the wildcards of the NFL for the 2016 season. They obviously had a horrible 2015 season and when free agency came, they lost some solid players. But they have a new head coach and ton of draft picks in 2016.

They also have a very talented quarterback in Robert Griffin III that’s looking to get back on top. And with Hue Jackson as his head coach, he just might do it in 2016. Many thought the RGIII was simply a stop-gap quarterback until the Browns didn’t take a quarterback early in the draft.

There are actually some that still believe that with 3rd-round pick Cody Kessler being the future. But it is now clear the RGIII at least has a chance to become much more than that in Cleveland. Team VP of football operations Sashi Brown revealed his plan to Cleveland.com.

He said, “You know, our plan would be for Robert to come in and solidify himself and you know, if we felt like he was our answer long-term, we would begin to work on a long-term deal. Way premature to talk about at this point.

“He’s gotta come in and earn the starting job and then show that he can lead our offense in a manner that is going to be successful in this division and ultimately in a Super Bowl.”

The former NFL Rookie of the year is just 26 years and Jackson has done well with less talented quarterbacks then RGIII. If Josh Gordon can come back with 2016 1st-round pick Corey Coleman and Tyler Eifert, he’ll have a nice set of weapons around him.

No one can predict anything but you never know what can happen here!
