There are more than a handful of position units in the NFL that appear like weaknesses.

Every summer, there are units on NFL teams which look like potential problems. No team is immune from this problem but one of things which separates the good teams from the bad ones is that the good ones usually try to address these areas of concern. Let’s take a look at some of these units which have the most glaring problems.

This first one pertains to off the field issues, but is really something that has grabbed headlines.

Johnny Manziel’s legal team: Generally when your lawyer accidentally texts the media about things regarding your case, like that he doesn’t think that you can pass a drug test, you need a better lawyer.

The Manziel story just continues to get uglier and it doesn’t appear that an end is in sight. It’s hard to imagine him every getting back on a football field. There is just too much baggage and note enough talent.

Some may try to relate this to the Michael Vick situation but it’s nowhere close. Vick was a transcendent talent which made teams more inclined to take a chance. Manziel hasn’t proven anything on the field and has likely seen the end of his career.
