Aldon Smith Can’t be Trusted

No one had bigger hopes for Oakland Raiders OLB Aldon Smith than I did!

But now, I”m starting to wonder if he if he wants to play or if that bud (marijuana) has him thinking he’s smarter than the NFL. His girl even told him not to do it but he recorded himself smoking bud on social media. He must have watched Eddie Murphy’s Raw to come up with his answer too.

I wrote an article a couple of days ago, hoping for the best, thinking he can’t be that stupid. He’s on his fifth or sixth chance now so he has to know that at some point, teams will stop calling. But TMZ has reported that he is in a treatment center meaning that was him smoking that bud.

The most likely scenario was they brought him in for testing after the incident and he failed a drug test. The NFL then set conditions, including a stint in rehab, to come back in November. Smith is special at rushing the passer so he should have a $20 million-a-year contract already.

But somehow, he’s still allowing bud to come between him and a $20 million-a-year contract. Only God can judge him so there’s no reason to call him a this, a that, or a the other. But trusting him to  give up bud for a $20 million or even a $5 million-a-year job is out.

It’s a good thing the Raiders picked up Bruce Irvin this offseason!

Smith needs to work on Smith for now!
