We all thought the Oakland Raiders would have a dominant defense coming into this season. But despite the historical bad start, the Raiders Nation defense will dominate at some point.

That’s not Oakland Raiders football to give up over 1,000 yards in the first two games of the season. We’ll, we can’t exactly say they’ve been playing Raiders football since 2002. But we can say that’s Raiders football to start the season 4-1.

The come-from-behind wins in the closing minutes are also a part of Raiders football. But the defense managed to keep the score down only once and that was against the Tennessee Titans. The traditional 11 angry men brand hasn’t quite come back yet.

The Raiders are No. 32 against the pass and No. 27 against the run right now. That’s not in line with the brand and it sure won’t to beat the defending AFC West champion Denver Broncos. They clearly have their Orange Crush Defense brand back.

But there’s no reason to worry, the Raiders 11 angry men brand is on the way back. They’ve made key stops but haven’t come close to playing the complete game they’re capable of. But there are reasons to believe a dominant defense will come together in Oakland.
