Right now, Myles Garrett overwhelmingly looks like the best prospect in the 2017 NFL Draft. I’d hate to be a team looking for a franchise quarterback in this draft. You don’t know what you’re getting as they’ve been wildly inconsistent this season.

As is the case every year, the team picking first often has a difficult choice to make. They’re caught between picking the “sure thing” or best player in the draft or a potential franchise quarterback. You can’t miss this one and if you do, you’re picking first in the draft again.

Texans A&M edge rusher Myles Garrett Myles Garrett is the best prospect coming out this year. And as far as quarterback goes, no one can be too sure who that guy is. DeShaun Watson was the guy coming into this season but has since faltered.

His lack of accuracy down the field and staring down targets cost him at the start of the season. DeShone Kizer started to look like that guy for a while but he’s starting to not look so good. Right now, tt looks like both of these quarterbacks should stay in school.

But we know that won’t happen because teams overdraft quarterbacks every year. But in this mock draft, no quarterback gets drafted before Garrett comes off the board.
