QB. Notre Dame. DeShone Kizer. 13. player. 32. The Arizona Cardinals are picking at No. 13 overall because of the rash of injuries that hit them on the O-line. But with QB Carson Palmer back they are in win now mode, trying to make it to the Super Bowl. But I’m hearing the Cardinals want DeShone Kizer and that’s not a win-now move.
That’s a move to redshirt a potential franchise QB for next year when the one you have retires.. Putting a better CB on the other side of Patrick Peterson would give the Cardinals is a win now move. But if you’ve seen this class of CBs, you know you they can easily get a starter in the second round.

So they grab Kizer, the QB in this class with the most upside, to mold into Palmer’s replacement one day. He’s 6’5″, 233 pounds, athletic, has a big arm and comes from a pro style offense at Notre Dame. What I like most is his ability to throw an accurate ball when he’s going to get crushed.

He has some things to clean up but the Cardinals don’t expect him to start right away. But if Palmer gets hurt, Kizer is more ready to play this year than any other QB in this class. But this move was made for the future and I have to say it’s a good one with the upside Kizer has.
