Zach Brown started off on the market wanting $6 million a year. Now he has to choose between two teams that have a number in mind.

Decisions, decisions!

Free agent linebacker Zach Brown is trying to decide which NFL team he wants to play for next. His first visit this offseason was with the Oakland Raiders but he left quickly without a deal. GM Reggie McKenzie just wasn’t willing to pay him $6 million a year.

He has since visited the Miami Dolphins and Buffalo Bills, who also weren’t so generous. There aren’t any other teams beating down his door to give him that kind of coin. So he has to know now that he won’t get that $6 million a year contract this offseason.

According to Armando Salguero of Miami Herald, that leaves Brown to choose between the Raiders and Dolphins. Again, neither team is interested paying Brown $6 million a year. The Dolphins are reportedly willing to pay him $3 or 4 million a year.

I’m thinking the number the Raiders have in mind for him is similar to that. That’s why I don’t see where there’s that hard of a choice for him unless he loves Florida. He has to know that his best chance at winning Super Bowls now and in the future is with the Raiders.

Choosing between Derek Carr and Ryan Tannehill as your quarterback shouldn’t be hard. Choosing which defense he wants to play on should be that hard either. The Dolphins’ stars of that defense are getting old as Ndamukong Suh is 30 and and Cameron Wake is 35.

Khalil Mack, the reigning NFL Defensive Player of the year, is just 26 years old. If Aldon Smith can get his act together, he’s only 27 and Mario Edwards Jr. is only 22. The CBs have to play like they did in 2015 but this front-seven has a future together especially with Brown.

What’s there to think about, Zach?
