Beast Mode is coming to Raider Nation!!!

Get your Skittles ready!

Retired RB Marshawn Lynch, aka Beast Mode is going to be an Oakland Raider in 2017. This has been in the making for over a year now and it has finally come to be. Wednesday morning, Pat McAfee of Barstool Sports reported that Lynch was in the Raiders building.

He was chatted it up with Raiders officials and QB Derek Carr, who’s rehabbing, showed up. Then later that day, NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reported that he told the team he plans to un-retire. That is only Step 1 toward Lynch making his comeback.

But Lynch and the Raiders had to have discussed some kind of terms on the visit. So while there is still a long way to go, you can’t convince me this won’t happen. The Raiders are all in to bring a championship to the city of Oakland before they leave for Las Vegas.

And a guy like Beast Mode makes that championship much more likely for the Raiders. They already have QB Derek Carr, WRs Amari Cooper and Michael Crabtree and the best O-line in football. They’re just missing a power back as Latavius Murray is gone now.

This years draft has tons of defensive talent in it so the Raiders can take care of the defense there. The nucleus of a great defense is already there with Khalil Mack, Karl Joseph and company. Seattle Seahawks GM John Schneider has a relationship with Raiders GM Reggie McKenzie.

So whatever deal needs to be made and easily be made with contentiousness.

Beast Mode, boss!
