Tampa Buccaneers QB Jameis Winston worked out with mercurial RB Adrian Peterson. And it left him want to play with the former Minnesota Vikings star.

At the end of February, the Minnesota Vikings declined the contract option on RB Adrian Peterson. And at that time, he listed the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as one of the teams that he would play for. Peterson’s market is unclear as what he has said goes against speculation.

Much of the media had his market being slow because he’s asking for too much money. But he has since come out and said that he has slowed his market down and it’s not about money. He wants to take his time picking a team that gives him a chance to win a Super Bowl.

So he’s taken a couple of visits and we haven’t heard a lot about him this offseason. Peterson has yet to visit the Buccaneers but that could very well change soon. QB Jameis Winston worked out with him and came away impressed and now wants to play with him.

When asked about it, he told ESPN.com:

"“Absolutely!. I don’t know of anyone  that wouldn’t. But that’s out of my league. I can only talk about what I learned from him and how he helped me this offseason.”"

Winston has since gotten a bunch of his WRs together to join him and Peterson in workouts. Of course Peterson wasn’t his usual self, coming off a knee issue last season. But the work he’s putting now had to have reached the Buccaneers’ front office by now.

And due to a drug suspension, RB Doug Martin won’t be available for the first three games in 2017.

We wait to see what happens!
