This is the final version of my 2017 NFL Mock Draft process that features several trades and surprises.

The 2017 NFL Mock Draft season is finally coming to an end as we get a chance to see the actual results. This has been one of the more interesting draft processes in recent memory as we really have no idea how things will shake out.

1. Cleveland Browns- Myles Garrett, Edge, Texas A&M

Myles Garrett should be the No. 1 pick based on talent and upside. However, the Browns are in a tough situation as they try to find their franchise quarterback. They have had a lot of time to mull this over, but when it comes to crunch time they go with the best player.

A defensive line featuring Garrett, Emmanuel Ogbah and Danny Shelton is a pretty strong group. We’ve seen teams like the Houston Texans make a playoff appearance based on the play of their defense.

Garrett is a physical freak who excels at generating pressure on the quarterbacks. New defensive coordinator Gregg Williams is an aggressive play caller and will know how to get the most out of Garrett.

Cleveland needs to focus on getting better as an entire team and not just at the quarterback position. However, they do have enough draft capital to move back into the top-10 and land Mitch Trubisky if they desire.

2. San Francisco 49ers- Leonard Fournette, RB, LSU

The 49ers have been very tight lipped about where they are leaning with the No. 2 pick. They have so many needs that they could realistically go in any direction. The latest rumor has them possibly leaning towards Leonard Fournette.

This pick would make some sense as they would be able to land a back capable of being the focal point of the offense. Fournette’s presence would make life easier for whoever they decide to add as their quarterback of the future.

3. Chicago Bears- Jamal Adams, S, LSU

Jamal Adams isn’t just a terrific player he’s also a tremendous leader. He’s someone who will step in from day one and demand the most out of his teammates. This is the type of attitude the Chicago Bears need if they want to get back in the playoff mix.

Adams also plays a position of great need for the Bears. Their secondary play last year was a complete mess and a major part of the team’s struggles.

Solomon Thomas is absolutely in the mix here and could very well be the pick. I went with Adams based on the combination of talent, upside, leadership and position need.
