Nick Bosa wants to be the Arizona Cardinals’ choice at No. 1 overall, and he issued a warning of GM Steve Keim passes on him.

The Arizona Cardinals have played the 2019 NFL draft perfectly. We’re just a few hours away from the first round kicking off and there’s still a lot of confusion and uncertainty surrounding the Cardinals’ plan.

If it was up to Nick Bosa, the choice would be pretty easy.

ESPN’s Josina Anderson shared a conversation she had with the potential No. 1 overall pick, and the confidence he has in himself is pretty obvious.

“They already have a quarterback,” Bosa told Anderson. “A quarterback can be hit or miss. If you don’t take me, I’ll be sacking Kyler Murray and if you do pick me you’ll have one of the best defensive lines (front seven) in the NFL.”

This year’s NFL draft is simply fascinating. Bosa is 100% right with his assessment of why he should be the pick, but there are equally persuasive arguments for Murray and even Quinnen Williams.

Bosa appeared in just three games in 2018 but he began the year as a consensus top prospect in the country. He finished 2017 with 8.5 sacks after a freshman season that produced five. His older brother, Joey, had a similar end to his career at Ohio State; he finished his final season with just five sacks. The older Bosa was the third overall pick to the Chargers in 2016.

If the Cardinals don’t select Bosa No. 1 overall, he’s expected to be gobbled by the 49ers with the second pick. That said, it would be pretty cool if he slid to the Jets and the third overall pick, just like his big brother.
