Dec 7, 2014; Oakland, CA, USA; Oakland Raiders guard Austin Howard (77) is called for unnecessary roughness as he pushes San Francisco 49ers cornerback Perrish Cox (20) after the whistle where Cox, defensive back Dontae Johnson (36) and inside linebacker Chris Borland (50) stopped Oakland Raiders running back Latavius Murray (28) during the first quarter at O.co Coliseum. Bottom Line

The Bay Area has stolen from the rest of the NFL with the selections of Carr and Borland in the second and third rounds respectively. Both franchise quarterbacks and franchise inside linebackers are the positions dynasties are built with. And so however Bowman comes out from his knee injury, they still have a franchise inside linebacker in Borland.

And as for Carr, all the Raiders need is a few pieces around him and they will be ready to finally compete with the rest of the NFL. No matter what happens for the rest of this year, the future is bright for both of these storied franchises. Having the steals of the 2014 NFL Draft will go a long way toward the future of both franchises.
