Bottom Line

Lynch has proven two years in a row that having a game-changing running back takes you to the Super Bowl. And if the Seahawks wouldn’t have refused to use him near the goal line at the end of the game, they would have won two-straight. While no one seems to like running backs anymore, that game showed you the true value of a great one.

And there are three great ones entering the draft in 2015 with superstar type talent. So I have all three of them going in the first round after none went there in the last two years. The bottom line is all three of these running backs are better at what they do than most of the 1st-rounders are at what they do anyway.

And as for Mariota, the scouting world dropped him last week so I tried it with them but No. 2 is where he should go. The thing to wonder about now is will it indeed be to the Titans because Chip Kelly is lurking and now has control over personnel in Philly. I’m going to be watching that situation very closely for just how much he’s willing to sacrifice for his favorite player.

I hope you enjoyed the mock this week.
