48. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ offense was ranked 30th in the league in yards (292.0) and 29th in points per game (17.3) last season. They need someone to put a spark in that unit and it all starts with the player under center. By selecting Jameis Winston, the Buccaneers add a skilled quarterback who will not only get the ball to our talented supporting cast of receiving options, but will be a much-needed locker room presence that can motivate his teammates to take their game to the next level. Winston’s off-the-field issues are still a concern. However, if head coach Lovie Smith and general manager Jason Licht are confident that these instances were just immaturity and not a sign of potential things to come, it’s hard to pass up on arguably the best quarterback in this year’s draft. <p>-Jose Martinez, <a href=.
