25. Arizona Cardinals- Adolphus Washington, DL, Ohio State
The Arizona Cardinals aren’t only heading into the season without Todd Bowles but also defensive linemen Dan Williams and Darnell Dockett. Replacing that type of talent isn’t going to be easy and could result in a drop in production.
Frostee Rucker and Corey Peters are solid players but neither offers much upside. Ohio State’s Adolphus Washington is a big-bodied defender who can hold up against the run and generate some pressure. His size and strength combination makes him a great fit at the five-technique position.
Arizona is going to need to start committing some draft picks to bolstering the defensive line because eventually plugging the holes with aging vets won’t work.
