15. Miami Dolphins- Reggie Ragland, LB, Alabama
Reggie Ragland is looking to continue the strong tradition of Alabama linebackers in the NFL. He’s an instinctual player who reads his keys and works his way to the football. Ragland plugs running lanes by taking on blockers and holding his ground.
The Miami Dolphins used a lot of their resources to upgrade the defensive line (signing Ndamukong Suh) but they are still having problems stopping the run. Linebackers Koa Misi and Kelvin Sheppard have garnered the majority of the blame for this issue.
Addressing the inside linebacker spot would go a long way in improving the run defense.

Addressing the inside linebacker spot would go a long way in improving the run defense. Ragland would register a ton of tackles working behind a defensive line that features Suh and a space-eater like Earl Mitchell.
Miami’s offensive line needs work which could impact the direction of his pick. The biggest concern surrounds the health of left tackle Branden Albert. He has been in and out of the lineup all year and just isn’t reliable.
The left tackle position is too important to have injury concerns each week. Unfortunately, this draft lacks depth at the tackle spot. Miami might have to move up the draft and target an elite prospect like Notre Dame’s Ronnie Stanley or Ole Miss’s Laremy Tunsil.
