The Bears are hoping to get 2015 1st-round pick Kevin White for a portion of this year. But at this point they won’t have major plans for him until 2016. He’ll be there with fellow receiver Alshon Jeffery, tight end Martellous Bennett and running back Matt Forte.
What the Bears need to address now is their not-so Monsters of the Midway defense. They can’t stop the run or get after the quarterback these days. And addressing one of their 3-4 defensive end spots would go a long way toward doing both.
So right here at No. 13 overall, A’Shawn Robinson is the right pick for them. He’s a solid two-gapper in the run-game that can also get after the quarterback. Once this pick is made, the Bears will be better equipped to face running backs like Adrian Peterson.
