53. I think it’s pretty obvious that edge-rusher Myles Garrett is the best prospect in this year’s draft. The Cleveland Browns run a 3-4 defense but Garret will have no problem adjusting to the 3-4. It’s not like he’ll be in coverage a whole lot anyway.

The Browns are picking him to rush the passer as that is something they don’t do well right now. With the quarterbacks they have in the AFC North, the Browns have to get after them. Plus it looks like 2016 1st-round pick Cody Kessler can get it done at quarterback.

If the Browns build their defense up, they can win with him under center. Garrett has the size, length, burst and motor you look for in an edge-rusher prospect. He can beat you with speed, by bending around the edge and converting speed to power.

Garrett also possesses the agility to spin back inside when opposing tackles overset for his speed. He seems to have adjusted to all the chip-blocks, double-teams and triple-teams sent his way. The Browns defense will become a solid unit in a hurry with this pick.
. EDGE. Texas A&M. Myles Garrett. 1. player
