NFL Power Rankings Week 11
10. Houston Texans -6-3
The Houston Texans keep finding ways to win games. They were able to hold off the Jaguars, winning 24-21 to stay atop the AFC South. It took a complete team effort to pull off their first road win of the season.
Brock Osweiler went 14-of-27 for 99 yards and two touchdowns. Lamar Miller rushed 15 times for 83 yards. The offense played solidly and did not turn the ball over.
The defense sacked Blake Bortles twice. They also grabbed an interception that was returned for a touchdown. This victory was the Texans fifth in a row against the Jaguars.
The Texans may hold on to the lead in the AFC South, but the Titans are right on their trails. They will need to continue to win on the road if they want to stay in first place. This week, they travel to Mexico City to play the Oakland Raiders on Monday night.
The AFC South is still up in the air. There isn’t a clear winner yet. If the Texans want to hold on to their lead they will need to continue to find ways to win games.
