Chicago Bears head coach John Fox is looking for a new quarterback these days. According to Draft Bites, Fox is begging management to move on from Jay Cutler. Brian Hoyer is soon to be a free agent and Bears fans don’t want to hear about Matt Barkley.
So at No. 3 overall, the Bears go ahead and select Mitch Trubisky from North Carolina. I originally didn’t think much of him but the more tape of him I watch, the more I like him. I still think DeShone Kizer is better but the Bears are taking an interest in Trubisky these days.

No quarterback prospect is perfect but Trubisky has what it takes to be a franchise quarterback. We can start with is arm talent and athleticism and go to his size at 6’3″, 220 pounds. But the best thing about him is his ability to throw an accurate ball under pressure.

Pro Football Focus has him No. 3 in all of college football in adjusted completion percentage under pressure. The Bears have a good running game and defense coming together. If they can keep receiver Alshon Jeffery and Kevin White can stay healthy, Trubisky could succeed.
. QB. North Carolina. Mitch Trubisky. 3. player. 57
