Due to their trade with the Los Angeles Rams, the much improved Tennessee Titans are picking at No. 5 overall. And they don’t need that much to become a contender these days. They have a solid defense, particularly the front-7, that needs a little work.
And on offense, they have quarterback Marcus Mariota and a great running game behind him. They also have a fantastic offensive line that opens holes and protects Mariota well. What the Titans need to do is get Mariota a true No. 1 receiver to throw the ball to.

They can stand to get a cornerback but the position is deep and they can do that later in the first round. So right here at No. 5 overall in the 2017 NFL Draft, the Titans select Mike Williams. Williams showed Monday the he was a No. 1 receiver in every way there is to be.

Sure, at 6’3″, 220 pounds, he has great size, speed, route-running, hands and run-after-the-catch skills. But in the National Championship Game, he showed that you can count on him when it matters. The Titans will complete their offense and contend for the AFC South with this pick.
. WR. Clemson. Mike Williams. 5. player. 35
