30. The New York Jets can go a number of ways with this pick but it shouldn’t be quarterback. They got Christian Hackenberg in the second round of the 2017 NFL Draft and redshirted him but they like him. And in 2017, we should see why as he gets his chance to play. <p>It looks like he’ll have some help behind him in 2017 with running back Bilal Powell coming back. The defense will be better as cornerback Darrelle Revis will be back to full strength from his wrist surgery last offseason. Many want a cornerback for the Jets here at No. 6 overall but there’s a better way to go.</p> <p>The position is so deep, they can get one with a 1st-round grade in the second round anyway. To make the Jets defense work the way head coach Todd Bowles wants it to, a star edge rusher is necessary. So with that No. 6 overall pick, the Jets go ahead and select Tim Williams from Alabama.</p> <p>The burst off the edge to go with the bend being compared to Derrick Thomas is no exaggeration. With Leonard Williams and Muhammad Wilkerson on the interior, Tim Williams would be a nightmare right away. Then it’s time to possibly climb out of the NFC East cellar and up the standings.</p>. OLB.
