124. The Kansas City Chiefs will be back in 2017 with QB Alex Smith at the helm again. And he’ll have solid weapons in WRs Jeremy Maclin, and Tyreek Hill and Kelce at TE. Jamaal Charles is no longer with the team so it looks like the Chiefs will go forward with Spencer Ware at RB.
Outside of NT Dontari Poe not being with the team anymore the Chiefs appear to have the defense intact. At some point in the draft, the Chiefs may want to find a solid NT to help stop the run better. But here at No. 27 overall, they have a chance to get CB Marcus Peters a partner.

And Kevin King, his teammate at Washington, would be the right guy for the job. King is 6’3″, 200 pounds with long arms to jam opposing WRs with and physical in doing so. He also has good speed, running a 4.43 40 at the 2017 NFL Scouting Combine.

He also posted a 39.5-inch vertical leap and he uses it on the field as he plays the ball very well. King is definitely the guy you want on the other team’s big WR in the red zone. He could go in and be what Sean Smith, who’s now with the Raiders, was when he was a Chief.
. CB. Washington.
