Former North Carolina QB Mitchell Trubisky has been the apple of the Cleveland Browns eye all offseason. Before Garrett turned in his freak performance this offseason, there was noise about Trubisky going No. 1 overall. I don’t understand it myself but the Browns have been smitten with him all along.
They always say, “All it takes is one team to fall in love with him” and the Browns love Trubisky. They have two first-round picks so reaching with one of them isn’t bad if you like him. However, like the rest of the QBs in this draft class, Trubisky I don’t think he’s ready to play right away.

So the competition is probably between Brock Osweiler and Cody Kessler to start in 2017. The Browns upgraded their O-line this offseason and have TE Gary Barnidge and WR Corey Coleman to throw to. Isaiah Crowell and Duke Johnson are back to run the ball to give the offense some balance too.

And with Garrett in the fold, the defense looks like a much better unit as well. So I’m expecting massive improvements and a much more competitive team from the Browns in 2017. Remember, this team has three more picks in the first 65 slots.
. QB. North Carolina. Mitchell Trubisky. 12. player. 53
