Forrest Lamp. 26. player. 36. Former Western Kentucky left OT Forrest Lamp looks like an elite left OT prospect on tape. He handled Alabama DE Jonathan Allen and OLB Tim Williams very well when he played against them. But unfortunately, he came up a little short at the 2017 NFL Scouting Combine.
He ran a 5.00 40 to show his athleticism at 6’4″, 310 pounds and repped 225 34 times to show his strength. Where he came up short was his arm length at just 32 1/4 inches long. The desired arm length for a left OT prospect starts at 34 inches so Lamp is an OG prospect now.

And it just so happens that the Seattle Seahawks need everything on the O-line but a C. The Seahawks are going to actually try to get something out of draft bust left OT Luke Joeckel. So they could line Lamp up next to him at right OG while O-line coach Tom Cable works on Joeckel.

There are some that believe in Lamp as a tackle regardless of his short arms. So if things don’t work out at left OT for Joeckel, he and Lamp could end up switching spots. If the Seahawks can somehow solve their issues in pass protection, the can’t get to another Super Bowl.
. OG. Western Kentucky
