Malik Hooker. 5. player. 35. Former Ohio State S Malik Hooker won’t be testing this offseason because of an injury he sustained. But that doesn’t make a lot of difference with him because he’s not known to have great speed. The reason why he has so much range is because he has incredible instincts that take him to the ball.
He reads the QBs eyes well and almost always takes to proper angle to where the ball is going. From there, he has tremendous ball skills to finish the play with an INT or a pass broken up. He has been so good, he’s drawn comparisons with legends like Ed Reed and current greats like Earl Thomas.

The Titans are solid up front but had problems with bombs going over their heads in 2016. They already addressed one of their problems this offseason, signing Logan Ryan in free agency. Hooker is ready to make a big impact now so we should expect the secondary to be much tighter this year.

The Titans get after the QB well and stop the run so this takes care of their weakness on defense. This is just the first of two picks in the first round, coming from the Jared Goff trade. Now they have one weakness on offense that they can fix with the No. 18 overall pick.
. S. Ohio State
