2017 NFL Mock Draft: Mitch Trubisky to the Cleveland Browns?
By Jon Dove
11. New Orleans Saints- Takkarist McKinley, Edge, UCLA
Takkarist McKinley is an explosive athlete still learning how to become a pass rusher. However, he has the juice needed to make an immediate impact off the edge. The New Orleans Saints need someone to draw attention away from Cameron Jordan.
A defensive line with McKinley, Jordan, Sheldon Rankins and Nick Fairley would be very disruptive.
12. Cleveland Browns (Phi)- Reuben Foster, LB, Alabama

Cleveland went with Trubisky at No. 1 overall and now get a chance to add another top-flight talent. Reuben Foster is one of the top-5 players on my Big Board and only falls to this point based on position value.
He’s a leader and tone setter for the defense and someone capable of making an immediate impact. I wouldn’t be surprised if he won the Defensive Rookie of the Year award.
13. Arizona Cardinals- Haason Reddick, LB, Temple
The Cardinals suffered a big loss when they were unable to re-sign Kevin Minter. He wasn’t necessarily a standout player, but he provided stability in the middle of the defense. Haason Reddick is an inside linebacker prospect who could help fill the void.
14. Philadelphia Eagles (Min)- Christian McCaffrey, RB, Stanford
Christian McCaffrey is the true definition of a playmaker who impacts the game as a runner, pass catcher and return man. He’d give Carson Wentz a reliable weapon capable of producing big-plays out of nothing.
15. Indianapolis Colts- Tre’Davious White, CB, LSU
Indianapolis did some nice work in free agency, but they still have some major needs on the defensive side of the ball. Tre’Davious White is a technically sound cornerback who has worked to improve his ball skills.
