87. At the end of last season, it looked like the Carolina Panthers defense was starting to shape up. Second and third-round picks James Bradberry and Daryl Worley got the hang of playing CB in the NFL. The offense, that wasn’t quite as good in 2016 as 2015, is the team’s concern this offseason.
The O-line will be much better as they picked up left OT Matt Kalil in free agency. It would be ideal for Michael Oher to make it back from concussion protocol and play on the right side. From there, the Panthers offense could use a slot WR and an RB to help Jonathan Stewart out.

The Panthers already have two trees outside in Kelvin Benjamin and Devin Funchess along with TE Greg Olsen. And the Panthers can kill two birds with one stone by taking Christian McCaffrey in the draft. McCaffrey would be a weapon rushing, receiving and on special teams in the return game.

I could even see McCaffrey eventually gaining 10 pounds and becoming the bell cow as Stewart retires. But he can plug in as a slot-WR and help out with the running game immediately. McCaffrey could be the player that puts the Panthers back on top in the NFC South.
. RB. Stanford.
