71. Patrick Mahomes, QB, Texas Tech

There’s no denying Mahomes raw ability, but it’s hard to watch his tape and see how it translates to the NFL. He doesn’t play with discipline, lacks proper mechanics and is too unpolished. It maybe a few years before he’s truly ready to be a starter in the NFL– if ever.

72. Mitch Trubisky, QB, North Carolina

Trubisky is a notch below Mahomes in my rankings based on the fact the he doesn’t have the same level of natural ability. However, he’s more of a quarterback than a thrower and has a better chance of success.

73. Carlos Henderson, WR, La Tech

  • Henderson is a playmaker who is extremely dangerous with the ball in his hands. He’s someone who can take a wide-receiver screen and turn it into a 60-yard touchdown. His route-running ability is something that needs improvement.

    74. DeShone Kizer, QB, Notre Dame

Kizer has shown flashes that he could be a successful NFL quarterback, but those flashes were very sporadic. The team that drafts Kizer is doing so based on potential and trust in their coaching staff.

    75. Josh Malone, WR, Tennessee

Malone is one of my sleepers and someone who develop into a No. 1 target. He has good size for the position, strong hands and the speed to stretch the field.

    76. Rasul Douglas, CB, West Virginia

Douglas is a big-bodied cornerback who plays an aggressive brand of football. He fights to get his hands on the football either generating pass breakups or interceptions.

    77. Desmond King, DB, Iowa

King spent his college career at cornerback but has the traits to potentially move to safety. He isn’t a flashy athlete, but someone who gets the job done.

    78. Charles Harris, Edge, Missouri

Harris is another one of those prospects that I’m probably way too low on. He’s a quick-twitch athlete capable of bringing heat off the edge, but is sort of a one-trick pony.

    79. Donnel Pumphrey, RB, San Diego State

Pumphrey’s lack of size is a concern, but it’s tough to hide his explosiveness and playmaking ability. There are plenty of teams looking for a change of pace back like Pumphrey.

    80. Deatrich Wise Jr., Edge, Arkansas

Wise is a bit of a projection here as a prospect with excellent length and a quick burst.
