Western Kentucky. Forrest Lamp. 26. player. 36. With the No. 26 overall pick in the draft, the Seattle Seahawks select former Western Kentucky OT Forrest Lamp. Watching him on tape, Lamp has just about everything you want in an O-lineman. At 6’4″, 310 pounds, he’s strong as a bull and very athletic with trademark left OT feet.

He had all that on display when he faced collegiate powerhouse Alabama in 2016. He faced the size and length of DE Jonathan Allen and the speed of OLB Tim Williams and excelled. After that game, you knew you were going to hear plenty about him as the draft approaches.

But now, he may not get a shot at the left OT position. because he only has 32 1/4 inch-long arms. So he is more likely than anything to kick inside to OG in the NFL but he is still a first-round pick. And the Seattle Seahawks, who need O-linemen, would happily take him at No. 26 overall.

They could use him at OG but they’re so bad at left OT, he may get a shot there in Seattle. C Justin Britt is the only solid O-lineman the Seahawks had on the team last year. So they have to find an O-line combination that works to protect QB Russell Wilson to contend.
. OG
