The Arizona Cardinals have Carson Palmer Back with a healthy O-line so the offense is ready to go. The same could not be said about the defense going into the 2017 NFL Draft. Minter got away in free agency choosing to go to the Bengals over sticking it out in Arizona.
Plus they never did replace S Rashad Johnson on the back end and Antoine Bethea isn’t the answer. So the Cardinals got busy on the defensive side of the ball starting with ILB Haason Reddick. Playing CB and DE in college and now playing ILB, Reddick is one of the best players in this class.

Then in the second round, the Cardinals sprinted to the podium to pick underrated S Budda Baker. You just don’t know how much longer WR Larry Fitzgerald is going to play so Chad Williams is a good pick. Developing him to take over the WR1 spot when Fitzgerald retires is probably what they’ll do.

Fourth-round pick Dorian Johnson has a chance to take that right OG spot and everyone else looks like depth. If there are no injuries to the O-line again, they will be contenders like they were in 2015. They even have a chance to win the NFC West with the haul they just brought in.
. — A+. .
