. Balitmore Ravens. 16. team. 26. The Baltimore Ravens, known for their defenses over the years, had to love this draft coming in. They needed help at CB, DE after trading Timmy Jernigan and an OLB to rush off the edge. Terrell Suggs isn’t going to play forever and could use help on the other side while he’s there.
The Ravens started at No. 16 overall with CB Marlon Humphrey, whose pretty good but not all that. He gets beat deep a little too much for my taste but he does have the physical traits. In the second round, they got good value, drafting OLB Tyus Bowser to rush the passer.

In Round 3, the Ravens got three good value picks, starting with DE Chris Wormley to take Jernigan’s place. The second third-rounder is OLB Tim Williams, who could be the steal of the draft. The third third-round pick is OG Nico Siragusa, who will likely take the place of Kelechi Osemele.

The defense now looks like it’s set up for now and into the future with the young edge rushers. The same thing goes for the O-line with Siragusa lining up next to left OT Ronnie Stanley for years to come. But they are also ready for the AFC North that’s tough every year but will be especially in 2017.
. — A-
