. tennessee titans. 18. team. 35. The Tennessee Titans are still building around QB Marcus Mariota and they are almost there. They have a solid defense, especially up front, a great O-line and a great running game. They just need a WR and a CB to have them ready to get in the playoffs in 2017 and they got both.
With the first of their first-round picks, the Titans picked Corey Davis, the most polished WR of this class. That pick is exactly what Mariota needed to help him make that jump to Year 3. Then in Round 2, the Titans go ahead and get their CB in Adoree Jackson to tighten up the coverage.

The track athlete will play just football and work on his craft full-time for the first time in his life. And when he’s not in sticky coverage on WRs, he’ll return punts and kicks and might play some offense. Then in round three, it looks like the Titans got themselves a slot-WR in Taywan Taylor.

Everyone else looks like depth in this draft for a team that looks to have shored up their weaknesses. If Mariota makes that jump to Year 3, the Titans will be in contention for the AFC South and beyond. That AFC South is another Division that looks like it’s getting tougher for 2017.

. — A
