— A. . new york giants. 23. team. 31. The New York Giants are another one of those teams that went into the draft with a great defense. So they were sure to get an offensive player that can put them over the top available at No. 23 overall. TE Evan Ingram happens to be that player to give QB Eli Manning another weapon to throw to.
Ingram is more of a move TE but the blocks much better than many give him credit for. But make no mistake, he’s a pass-catching TE that’s an absolute matchup nightmare for opposing defense. Then in the second round, the Giants decided to take a defensive player in DT Dalvin Tomlinson.

He’ll replace DT Johnathan Hankins, whom the Giants just lost this offseason in free agency. In Round 3, the Giants selected QB Davis Webb, who many had going early in the second round. Eli Manning is 36 now so this is a good pick to be his replacement in training the next couple of years.

In Round 4, the Giants selected RB Wayne Gallman to join the RB committee as the power runner. Everyone else from this draft looks like depth on the Giants team that is loaded and ready to go. The NFC East sure is getting tough but if I were a betting man, I would bet on the Giants right now.
