The New York Giants already have one of the top wide receivers in the NFL in Odell Beckham Jr.  Beckham can kill you with his speed deep and his ability to make the highlight reel catch.  But one thing the Giants needed to add in the off-season was a receiver with size.

The New York Giants also have another quick, young receiver in Sterling Shepard.  But he too is slight of build.  That’s why it makes so much sense that the New York Giants signed Brandon Marshall as a free agent.

Brandon Marshall has the size and physicality to give quarterback Eli Manning a huge target in the red zone.  Marshall can box out defenders and make the tough catches over the middle to keep the chains moving.

At 33, Marshall isn’t a young guy any more but he has plenty left in the tank to give the Giants the big receiver they needed to improve in the NFC East.  Brandon Marshall’s 6’4 height and length helps Eli Manning by giving him a receiver with a huge target radius.
