25. Buffalo Bills (via KC)- James Washington, WR, Oklahoma State

The Buffalo Bills decided against picking up Sammy Watkins’ 5th-year option which creates a lot of uncertainty. However, Watkins’ injury history has created uncertainty in the Bills lineup since he entered the league.

Buffalo is hoping that Watkins can finally put together a healthy year and live up to his potential. However, it’s impossible to feel optimistic about that playing out.

The Watkins situation and lack of other options makes Buffalo’s receiving corps one of the weakest in the NFL. Their projected No. 2 target is rookie Zay Jones who is already dealing with an injury of his own.

Adding another young receiver in the 2018 draft feels like a must for the Buffalo Bills. Oklahoma State’s James Washington is a big-play threat that would be a great addition. He’s someone who will stretch the field and put pressure on the defense.

His ability to win in contested situations would make him a quick favorite for any quarterback. Even if Watkins on the roster next season, the Bills should look to add someone with Washington’s upside.

Offensive is another area where the Bills could use some help. Notre Dame’s Mike McGlinchey would look great at right tackle.
