The New Orleans Saints fall one spot in the NFL Power Rankings to number 24. The Saints lost on the road to the Minnesota Vikings 29-19. Besides the loss, the biggest storyline for the Saints was the lack of touches for former Viking and free agent signing Adrian Peterson. Peterson had just six carries in the game 18 yards and was clearly upset on the sideline with Saints head coach Sean Payton. But the Saints don’t have much time to worry as they have the defending Super Bowl champion New England Patriots coming to pay them a visit in week 2.. Lost to Vikings 29-19. Previous: . Beat Jets 21-12. Previous: . Buffalo Bills. 23. team. 16. The Buffalo Bills move up one spot in the power rankings this week to number 23. The Bills defeated AFC East rivals the New York Jets in week one 21-12. The Bills offense put up 408 yards on the Jets defense led by running back LeSean McCoy who had 110 yards rushing and 49 yards receiving in the game. Quarterback Tyrod Taylor passed 224 yards and 2 TD’s and rushed for 38 yards as well. The Bills defense held the Jets to just 214 total yards and got two interceptions off Jets quarterback Josh McCown. In week 3 the Bills take to the road for a matchup with the Cam Newton and the Carolina Panthers.
