Safeties

  • Lamarcus Joyner
  • Karl Joseph
  • Johnathan Abram
  • Jordan Richards
  • Curtis Riley

Joyner is another big free-agent signing from this offseason who is a prototypical free safety in today’s pass-happy NFL. Joseph will look to finally live up to his first-round pedigree in 2019. Abram was one of the best safety prospects in the draft and will push for a starting position right away. He was known for his physical, hard-hitting playing style in college. Richards and Riley provide solid depth while having the ability to help on Special Teams.

Special Teams

  • Daniel Carlson
  • AJ Cole III
  • Trent Sieg

Carlson is an adequate kicker for Oakland while Cole III is an undrafted free agent who will take over the punting duties. Sieg was solid at long snapper as an undrafted rookie last season.
