Browns 7 round mock draft after Thursday night win vs. Steelers

After addressing the trenches, the next biggest need for the Browns to patch up is the third level of their secondary. While Greedy Williams and Denzel Ward have been solid contributors for the Browns this season, the safety play has been unhealthy and subpar through the first ten games of the season.
Damarious Randall, after playing the best season of his career last year, has been unhealthy and when he is on the field, below average. He is entering his contract year and wants paid like one of the top safeties in the league; the Browns are more than likely going to let him walk unless Randall drops his asking price.
The Browns have already cut their other starting safety in Jermaine Whitehead after he sent threatening tweets out via Twitter and Instagram after the team’s loss to the Denver Broncos two weeks ago. Eric Murray has been a solid contributor for the Browns, but again, he has been out multiple weeks with an injury as well.
Enter Florida State’s Hamsah Nasirildeen. The huge 6-4 and 225 safety in Nasirildeen could become defensive coordinator Steve Wilks’ best friend as he could be lined up in a variety of looks; he lands with the Browns with the 71st overall pick in the draft.
