Round 4. Pick 103. WR. 817. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Justin Jefferson. player

Oh boy. The Browns have themselves in a messy situation at the wide receiver position even with Odell Beckham Jr. and Jarvis Landry both on the roster. Outside of these two star receivers, the Browns have gotten next to no production out of the others on the roster, and mainly have themselves to blame.

Despite his success a year ago, Rashard Higgins has been under-utilized for the Browns this season, and with an expiring contract, he is not likely to return. Hopefully last week’s game-winning touchdown catch in the back of the endzone was enough for the Browns to play him more and hopefully seven games is enough time for the Browns to reconcile with Higgins.

Then there is Antonio Callaway… well, there was Antonio Callaway. The Browns released the second year receiver before yesterday’s game after he showed up late to last week’s game, was apparently late again this week, and has a pending ten game suspension. It would be nice to say there was no way for the Browns to see this one coming, but the reality is, there was.

Joe Burrow’s favorite target this year in Justin Jefferson is still on the board here in the fourth round. The Browns are able to grab the 6-3 and 193 pound receiver from LSU here as he is currently terrorizing opponents with nearly 900 receiving yards and nine touchdowns thus far in the 2019 season.
