Scouting Report

A rather pedestrian night in the stat column for Jalen Hurts but nonetheless it was effective. The more games he wins, the better he shows that he’s a guy you can with. He even caught a touchdown pass Saturday night just because he can!

Efficient in his passes and effective on the ground, Hurts continues to see his draft stock rise week by week. Adding three more touchdowns to what has already been an outstanding season for Hurts will certainly help your draft stock. Jalen Hurts continues to get better each week and be whatever his team needs him to be in order to win games.

Hurts has finished his final year of eligibility with over 3,300 passing yards, 31 touchdown passes, only six interceptions, and completing over 71 percent of his passes for the Sooners this year. He has also recorded 1,200 rushing yards and 18 touchdowns on the ground as well, proving to be a true dual threat quarterback.

The Sooners and Hurts will now look to take the Big-12 title home next week against the Baylor Bears, a team they barely squeaked by in their first matchup. Hurts can only help his draft stock at this point.
