Team Needs

Secondary

Without a doubt that the Dallas needs some serious secondary help after they lost their number one cornerback Byron Jones due to free agency. Dallas does not have the depth to roll into Week 1. The Cowboys need to address cornerback early in this year’s draft.

Not only do the Cowboys need to address just the cornerback position, they also need to address the safety position. The Cowboys wasted an early round draft pick on a safety in over ten years. The Cowboys decided to sign Ha Ha Clinton-Dix but he is not the long term answer for Dallas.

Defensive Line

The Cowboys lost defensive tackle Maliek Collins to free agency, the Las Vegas Raiders signed him to a multi-year deal. They did, however, added Gerald McCoy and Dontari Poe this offseason, they are the immediate starters but they are not the long term answer. Poe and McCoy are good for now but if they can get a young buck that can learn behind these two studs, that will help out the Dallas Cowboys for the long term.

Wide Receiver

The Dallas Cowboys last season decided to sign Randall Cobb, well this offseason Cobb decided to sign with the Houston Texans. The Dallas Cowboys need to get a receiver that can fit with Amari Cooper and Michael Gallup. The Cowboys have Noah Brown and Cedrick Wilson that are depth guys but they have been very injury prove for the last season. The Cowboys need to get a receiver in the draft that can fit the Dallas scheme. Good thing that this draft is full of good receivers in the later rounds.
