Atlanta Falcons team preview before 2020 NFL Draft
Top 10 Targets in 2020 NFL Draft
Atlanta has been linked to C.J. Henderson for the last week or so. The rumors are that the Falcons are going to try to trade up in the first round to draft Henderson. If not, Fulton and Diggs could still be there if they want to fix that cornerback position in the draft early. I personally like Fulton more than Henderson. In this case, I want Henderson to go before Fulton and the Falcons have an option to pick Fulton.
The Falcons need to get interior defensive lineman and edge rushers. Javon Kinlaw is the best player on the top ten board. If Kinlaw is available, you pick him no matter what and you do not think twice. Chaisson is a very good player but he is very raw, he needs more coaching but with Fowler in Atlanta now. This could be a very interesting place for Chaisson too and I would really like that fit. Epenesa would be a good scheme for the Falcons; they have Fowler now, Epenesa can play defensive end and bump down to defensive tackle if he needs too.
Atlanta has to know that Todd Gurley signed a one-year deal on purpose. Gurley wants a big contract, if you are not going to give that to him he is not staying. Gurley came back to Georgia for a year knowing he would get a contract. If Atlanta want to use their first-round pick on a running back, it has to be D’Andre Swift, a Georgia kid that played at UGA. If not, in the later rounds they could get Akers or Gibson that will be in rounds three and four.
