Team Needs

Offensive Tackle

The left tackle position is secured for at least one more season in Donovan Smith, he is reliable just not the most consistent tackle. On the other side, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers had Demar Dotson, who right now is a free agent. If Dotson would return to the Bucs, they would need a replacement. Joe Haeg signed with the Bucs this offseason which is a good versatile depth signing but the Buccaneers need a long-term upgrade at the tackle position.

Running Back

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have Ronald Jones as of right now is their starting running back. Jones has shown flashes last season of what he can do but the Bucs need a player that can push Jones. With Peyton Barber signing a deal with the Redskins, the Bucs need to draft a running back for depth. Tamp Bay can draft starting-caliber running backs all across the first three rounds. The Bucs will also likely target a running back that can catch passes out of the backfield.

Defensive Line

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers defensive coordinator Todd Bowles‘ runs an aggressive, hybrid scheme that requires versatility and athleticism. The Bucs brought back big boy Ndamukong Suh on a one-year deal and that will play alongside a young talented big boy in Vita Vea. The Bucs need to add depth at the defensive line position. Do not rule out an edge rusher either, with Carl Nassib signing with the Raiders this offseason. They could use some rotational pieces behind Shaq Barrett and Jason Pierre-Paul.
